About Us
Experienced and Creative Builders
Dan and Amy Terrill founded BCB with a vision—to provide honest, hardworking craftsmanship in high-end deck and porch construction. With over 20 years of experience as a cabinet maker and general contractor, he had all the expertise needed to bring his dream to life. His creativity and ability to envision a complete backyard oasis are unmatched. When working with metal, he transforms into a true artist, crafting designs that are nothing short of extraordinary. As a premier deck builder, Dan specializes in creating custom, innovative outdoor spaces tailored to his clients’ needs.
The Birth of BCB
Brew City Builders was founded in 2003, starting like many small businesses—with one truck, one skilled builder, and a vision. His wife, Amy, stepped in whenever needed, and as demand grew, so did our team, adding more craftsmen and more trucks.
In the beginning, we specialized in cedar decks, but as the industry evolved and low-maintenance composite options gained popularity, we expanded right alongside it. Over the years, we've worked with a variety of materials, but today, we are proud to be specialists in Timbertech Advanced PVC decking—the best product on the market, in our professional opinion. For every low-maintenance deck we build, we exclusively use Timbertech Advanced PVC decking, ensuring top-tier quality and longevity. If you're looking for a traditional wood deck, we also love working with Prowood—a treated pine board infused with iron to achieve a stunning cedar-like appearance.
In 2015, we opened the Brew City Builders showroom in West Allis, WI. Here, you'll find every Timbertech Advanced PVC decking color, thousands of railing options, and custom 3D deck design services.
